We undertake or are involved in studies of both the region’s subwatershed and the Lake Simcoe watershed as a whole. Studies may involve assembling data, creating computer simulations of the impacts of land use on water quality, documenting the state of the subwatersheds, and recommending courses of action.

Technical Reports and Studies
We undertake studies of the region’s subwatershed and the Lake Simcoe watershed as a whole. Topics include climate change, forestry, low impact development, salt, phosphorus and many more.
Subwatershed Plans
To meet the recommendations of the Lake Simcoe Protection Plan, we have been developing subwatershed plans to focus protection and restoration efforts in Lake Simcoe’s subwatersheds.
Watershed Health Reporting
We work with our partners to provide the best scientific investigation of the health of the watershed. This includes continually monitoring, evaluating and communicating the results.
Conservation Area Management Plans
Management Plans provide direction so our conservation areas are cared for in a way that balances recreation with conservation. These plans set goals to enhance our properties and provides the strategies to achieve them.
