Stewardship Priorities and Opportunities Tool (SPOT)
SPOT is a web-based mapping tool that helps interested organizations and partners choose where to complete restoration projects within the Lake Simcoe watershed.
The interactive map uses monitoring data to prioritize locations and projects that would achieve the greatest benefit to watershed health.
Project types fall into one or more of the following categories:
- Aquatic: improve fish habitat
- Terrestrial: increase forest cover
- Low Impact Development (LID): apply LID techniques to manage stormwater
