"Pop Up" Scanlon School

​Just because school is out doesn’t mean learning has to stop. Our team of Ontario Certified Teachers, Forest School Practitioners and Outdoor Education Specialists at Scanlon Creek Conservation Area are geared up to provide a positive learning experience for students during temporary school closures. 

With over 3​00 acres to explore at Scanlon Creek in Bradford, students will learn through our hands-on curriculum-linked outdoor education program​s.

Details​​

  • Ages 5 - 12
  • $50 per child
  • Drop off 8:50am - 9am
  • Extended care available from 7:30am to 5:30 pm for an additional $15 per child

Space is limited. Full refund for any dates not resulting in a school closure. 

​Camp Highlights

Follow your curiosities! Student interests will lead the way for our daily activities. Some activity highlights include:

  • Participate in outdoor education programs including orienteering, wildlife tracking, shelter building and more
  • Have fun and make new friends through a variety of outdoor games and various nature based activities
  • Warm up from our outdoor adventures inside the Scanlon Creek Nature Centre. There are games, books, crafts, worksheets and animal artifacts for you to explore during down time.
