Scanlon Creek Conservation Area

We're thrilled to welcome you back to Scanlon Creek and your four-legged friends to the Scanlon Creek Bark Park. Please follow all park rules during your visit.

Free Parking extended

Good news! We’re extending free parking at the Scanlon Creek Conservation Area. In lieu of parking fees, we're asking park goers to try our TipTap fundraiser. TipTap Pay is an easy way to give $5, $10 or $20 to help us care for and improve the Scanlon Creek Conservation Area. When you see this sign at the trailhead, be sure to tap your phone or card - it's a simple way to donate and help care for our greenspace. Donations go directly to the Lake Simcoe Conservation Foundation. Thank you for donating to a healthier Lake Simcoe watershed.

Closure Notices

Trail and Boardwalk Closure

Following a recent flooding event, the boardwalk on the Evergreen Trail and the Creekside Trail at Scanlon Creek Conservation Area are no longer safe and are closed until further notice. Please follow all safety signage as we move forward with decommissioning these trails over the coming weeks.

Scanlon Creek Conservation Area - Evergreen Trail, Section Closed

A section of the Evergreen trail has been temporarily closed until further notice due to trail and infrastructure hazards. The large bridge along this section has been closed, cutting off access to this trail section. The status of this bridge and this trail connection will be reviewed in the coming months, and a final decision will be made. Please avoid the south-west corner of the Evergreen trail within Scanlon Creek and instead use the Chickadee Trail as a connector trail for this section.
