Connect Campaign

Connect Campaign for a New Nature Centre

Each year, we welcome thousands of children to our Nature Centre to explore the outdoors for engaging, inspiring and outstanding educational experiences. We know that raising the next generation to experience the outdoors is the best way to get them to love it. We protect what we love.

Although we still welcome thousands of children each year, the current Nature Centre has come to the end of its lifecycle. What was once cozy has turned into cramped, outdated has become obsolete, and we can no longer maintain the high standards offered by our educational programs.

Building a new Nature Centre at Scanlon Creek

Our partners at the Lake Simcoe Conservation Foundation have launched the Connect Campaign – a campaign to build an incredible new Nature Centre at the Scanlon Creek Conservation Area.

This campaign will raise the $3 million dollars needed to build the new 8,000 ft2 community hub that will attract 15,000 kids, students, and community members of all ages each year.

Join the Connect Campaign and help build a new environmental hub where our entire community -young and old—will have the opportunity to reconnect with nature once again!
