Hosted by our partners at the Lake Simcoe Conservation Foundation, Roughin' it for a Reason is a campout fundraiser to help build a new Nature Centre at Scanlon Creek!
We invite you to join in on the fun and camp safely from your own backyard or balcony!
Join celebrity campers, including Frankie 'Flowers' Ferragine, on September 24 and stay connected all night long by tuning in online throughout the evening for campfire music, activities for kids, a bonfire cooking demonstration and much, much more!

Building a New Nature Centre
The current Nature Centre has been the anchor of LSRCA's outdoor education in the Lake Simcoe area since the 1980s. Constructed of three re-purposed portables, the Nature Centre housed numerous Outdoor Education programs, camps and community programs. Sadly the building is at the end of life and if not rebuilt, Outdoor Education will come to an end at Scanlon Creek. Take your own Virtual Tour of the Nature Centre!
