Know an environmental hero? Nominate them today
LSRCA looking for Conservation nominations
Lake Simcoe watershed, ON – April 23, 2018 – What do the president of a local business in Barrie, the owners of a livestock farm in the City of Kawartha Lakes, and a 10-year old student in Uxbridge have in common?

They were just a few of the 20 conservation heroes honoured by the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority (LSRCA) at its annual Conservation Awards Gala last year.
It's nomination time again and LSRCA is now seeking watershed-wide nominees for the 2018 Conservation Awards Gala in October. Nominees will be environmentally minded groups, businesses and individuals working to keep our water clean, our soil healthy and our communities more sustainable.
If you know any individuals, groups or businesses that have environmental accomplishments, let LSRCA know! They may not be looking for appreciation, but their efforts deserve recognition and they serve as an inspiration to others.
Eligibility requirements and the award nomination form are
now online.
It is the mission of the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority to collaborate, protect and restore the Lake Simcoe watershed with innovative research, policy and action.
