Celebrate your love for Sheppard's Bush Conservation Area
LSRCA looking for ideas to help nurture your fondness for the conservation area

NEWMARKET – February 13, 2017 – The Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority (LSRCA) is looking for ideas from residents and visitors to improve conservation and recreation opportunities at the Sheppard's Bush Conservation Area.
With so many features to love already, including more than three kilometres of hiking trails, 11 soccer pitches, two picnic pavilions and several historical buildings, Sheppard's Bush is one of the most beloved properties that LSRCA manages. As part of a continued effort to enhance the conservation area, LSRCA is interested in learning, from area users, new ways to combine conservation efforts with recreational opportunities.
There are two ways you can provide us with your ideas:
- Attend our public open house on Sunday, March 26, 2017 from 1:30p.m. to 3:30p.m. We'll be at the Windfall Ecology Centre, 93A Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, Ontario L4G 3V5. Light refreshments will be served. Please let Lauren know if you're interested in coming. She can be reached at 905-895-1281 x 126 or L.grzywniak@LSRCA.on.ca.
- Fill out our online survey. The survey will be available until March 31, 2017. Those who complete it will be entered in a draw to win a $100 gift certificate to Running Room.
It is the mission of the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority to collaborate, protect and restore the Lake Simcoe watershed with innovative research, policy and action.
