Education Programs and Services

Our education programs and services offer unique learning opportunities to schools and community groups within the Lake Simcoe watershed.

From three-dimensional watershed models to engaging outdoor activities, participants learn about the importance of conserving our shared natural environment and what they can do to make a positive impact. The result is a more engaged and connected watershed community and a healthier Lake Simcoe!

COVID-19 Update

Although our Nature Centre is currently closed for field trips, we continue to offer outreach visits in schoolyards and greenspaces in the Lake Simcoe watershed. These contactless outreach visits are conducted entirely outdoors. Private facility rentals that do not require staff support are also available at the Scanlon Creek Nature Centre.

To discuss your options, please email education@LSRCA.on.ca or complete a booking request form.
