Have your say in the future of Rogers Reservoir Conservation Area

LSRCA Hosting Open House October 15

NEWMARKET – Monday, October 3, 2011 The Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority (LSRCA) is inviting the community to an open house to provide input into the future of Rogers Reservoir Conservation Area.

"This is a fantastic opportunity for neighbours and conservation area users to bring their ideas to the table," said LSRCA Chair, Mayor Virginia Hackson. "Engaging our communities in our work is one of the most critical reasons for our success. Rogers Reservoir Conservation Area is a public space, so its future should be shaped by the very people that use it."

This open house is the first step in developing an updated management plan for the conservation area and the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority wants to hear from the public about the issues they feel should be considered in the plan.
