Colouring Contest with Awesome Prizes for Kids

Here come Becca, Ollie and Spike, The Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority’s Watershed Heroes!

Becca is a pileated woodpecker, Ollie is an earthworm and Spike is a pumpkinseed fish. These heroes may not have super powers, but they are super helpers for our environment and Lake Simcoe.

Our dedicated heroes now have their own activity book that has lots of cool activities and information about Lake Simcoe, our environment and things we can all do to make a difference.

To celebrate their new book, the Watershed Heroes are having a colouring contest. If you like to colour, then the Heroes want to hear from you! All you need to do is colour one of the button templates from the activity book and send it to the Watershed Heroes – you could win a terrific prize.

The age categories for entries and prizes are as follows:

Category A: ages 5 - 7; prize is a bike
Category B: ages 8 - 10; prize is an iPod nano
Category C: ages 11 - 13; prize is a digital camera

Contact Dana Eldon at 905.895.1281 ext.242 or d.eldon@lsrca.on.ca for a copy of this book or download the colouring page (PDF). Be sure to complete the form on the colouring page including your name, age and address before sending in your submission to:
