Santa Raises Thousands of Dollars for the Environment

Friday, January 11, 2008 — Wilderness Cabin at Vaughan Mills Supports Awareness and Conservation.

November 19, 2007 — The 14th annual A. D. Latornell Conservation honoured five recipients this year for their outstanding commitments to Ontario’s environment. Amoung them was Lake Simcoe Conservation Foundation, President – Debby Beatty. The ceremony took place on Thursday, November 15th, 2007 at the Nottawasaga Inn just outside of Barrie. Full story

Key donation completes Kidd's Creek campaign

Friday, July 13, 2007 (Barrie, ON)
— The campaign to renaturalize part of Kidd's Creek in downtown Barrie got a much needed boost today after Molson Canada, the country's oldest brewery announced it would be making a $76,700 donation to help meet the Lake Simcoe Conservation Foundation's fundraising goal.
